Bought it last fall for an diy elk hunt in arizona. I had a hard time deciding whether to give this 3 or 4 stars because considering the price it s pretty decent. I will use it differently than most its for my 3 day stealth camping survival trips. The top bar hits my head and forces it forward.

It rides very well on my shoulders and hips and is easily adjustable. The commander starts off with 5 250 cubic inches of storage and that doesn t even include strapping things to the outsides or the frame. This combination is not really a frame and pack but a full system for hunting and packing meat quarters. Have hauled 2 boned out elk quarters at once and the pack held up well without digging into my traps or hips.
